If you are looking for any sort of kitchen appliance, then one of the brands that you are likely to encounter is KitchenAid. It doesn’t matter whether it be a toaster, an oven, or indeed a blender, KitchenAid is one of the most reliable and trustworthy brands out there.
Given how prevalent and trustworthy they are, it isn’t surprising that at least some people out there only buy appliances from KitchenAid. In this article, we are going to help people out by reviewing some of the best KitchenAid blenders that are currently available on the market.
If you are curious, our personal recommendation would be the KitchenAid KSB1332YPA K150 Blender.
A Spotlight On Some of The Best Kitchenaid Blenders 2021:

KitchenAid KSB1332YPA K150 Blender
We believe in starting our review list off by getting straight to the best option (at least in our view). That is why the first KitchenAid blender that we are going to review is the KitchenAid KSB1332YPA K150 Blender. While it is hard to say that a particular kitchen appliance is the “best,” this appliance is, in our view, the best blender that you are going to get from this brand.
This blender is equipped with a 650 watt motor. Now, if you know anything about blenders, then you know that 650 watts isn’t all that impressive on its own. But rest assured that this is an extremely high-powered blender.
It may only have a 650 watt motor, but KitchenAid has managed to make sure that this blender uses every single watt. Likewise, the power output is helped out by the fact that this blender is equipped with some really reliable, high-quality stainless steel blades.
However, what we especially like about this blender is how versatile it is and how many convenient features it has. With many different speeds and pre-set options to use, this ends up being very easy to use and you can always get this blender to do exactly what you want.
Also, the power of the blender helps to ensure that you can make any sort of recipe that you want. You can throw in plenty of tough vegetables and fruits (or ice) and you don’t have to worry that this blender is going to struggle to get them blended up. All-in-all, the KitchenAid KSB1332YPA K150 Blender is one of the better and more reliable blenders on the market, and it is especially one of the best offerings from this brand.
We will say that in terms of cost, the KitchenAid KSB1332YPA K150 Blender is the most expensive regular blender that we have reviewed.
As it costs around $170, you do have to really like the blender to justify spending that much. While that price may be hard for some to swallow, we also have to acknowledge that the very high-quality of this blender does help to make it a pretty easy purchase in our view.
- Decent motor strength.
- High-quality, steel blades.
- Lots of different speeds and pre-set options.
- The most expensive regular blender that we have reviewed.
KitchenAid KSB1570OB 5-Speed Blender
The next blender that we want to review is the KitchenAid KSB1570OB 5-Speed Blender. We want to take a look at this one because in the first review on our list, we reviewed a fairly expensive KitchenAid blender. So, for this next one, we decided that we would look at something that is a lot more affordable, which is exactly what this blender is.
As you might expect from a slightly more affordable blender, the KitchenAid KSB1570OB 5-Speed Blender isn’t quite as powerful as the other, more expensive KitchenAid option that we reviewed.
At the same time, this blender is still equipped with a 550 watt motor, which is nothing to sneeze at. We know that some of you may be a bit skeptical about this blender, given its price, but trust us when we say that you will be definitely be getting your money’s worth.
At about $100 flat, this is definitely a much more affordable kitchen appliance when compared to the last KitchenAid blender that we reviewed. Is it what most consider affordable? Well, that depends on your own personal opinions. However, we do think that for the quality that you get, the KitchenAid KSB1570OB 5-Speed Blender is available at a fairly reasonable price.
Sadly, we note that there is one serious flaw with the KitchenAid KSB1570OB 5-Speed Blender. See, the blender doesn’t come apart like you would expect a blender to be able to.
Everything is firmly bolted into place. While this doesn’t have any impact on the performance of the blender, it does impact how difficult the appliance can be to clean. This is because you can’t take off the jar, meaning that it won’t fit in most dishwashers. So, you end up having to clean it by hand, which can be a real hassle.
- Makes great use of its 550 watt motor.
- Very simple to use with intuitive controls.
- A more affordable KitchenAid blender option.
- Can’t be taken apart, so cleaning is harder.
KitchenAid KHBC312OB Commercial Immersion Blender
For this next blender review on our list, we want to take a look at probably the single most unique KitchenAid option on our list, which is the KitchenAid KHBC312OB Commercial Immersion Blender.
The name alone probably gives away exactly why this option is more unique. This is the first immersion blender to appear on our list (for those who aren’t familiar with immersion blenders, they are also known as hand blenders).
Even though a lot of people may think that they need a traditional blender, a good immersion blender like this one can do all of the same things that a regular blender can. You can use the KitchenAid KHBC312OB Commercial Immersion Blender to make sauces, smoothies, shakes, and everything else that one uses blenders for. It even has the power to grind up ice and other hard items as well.
Furthermore, in many ways it is a lot more convenient to use than a regular blender, since there is no big setup process, and the cleanup is much easier. Whenever you want to use this blender, you can just pull it out of the drawer, so it doesn’t take up any counter space either.
There are a few potential hiccups that we want to mention before we move on from this review. The first is that in terms of cost, the KitchenAid KHBC312OB Commercial Immersion Blender is the most expensive blender that we have looked at so far on our list.
The second issue is that the overall design of this blender may not be for everyone. Don’t get us wrong, an immersion blender can be a great substitute for a regular blender, and it can do all of the same jobs that regular kitchen blenders can. At the same time, we know that some of you may be looking for a more traditional blender option, so this may not appeal to you.
- More convenient to use than regular blenders.
- Still fairly powerful despite being a handheld blender.
- Doesn’t take up counter space.
- A good deal pricier than many other regular blenders.
- Not a good option for those who want a traditional blender.
KitchenAid KHB2561OB 5-Speed Hand Blender
Moving on with our best KitchenAid blender review list, we want to take a look at a blender that is a bit unique, which is the KitchenAid KHB2561OB 5-Speed Hand Blender.
This is the second and last immersion (also referred to as handheld) blender that we are going to be looking at as part of our review list. Much like the last immersion blender that we reviewed, this is a high-quality option that easily rivals any regular blender that you are going to find on the market.
To start, we want to talk about the motor that is on this blender. As we have said before on this review list, motor strength is everything when it comes to blenders and the KitchenAid KHB2561OB 5-Speed Hand Blender is clearly equipped with a high-quality motor.
While it may only be rated for about 200 watts, as far as hand blenders go, this is quite a powerful one. It manages to make good use of that 200 watts to achieve a really good overall power output and we wouldn’t worry about being limited when it comes to what you can blend with this option, as it has the power necessary to tackle most blending jobs.
We do once again want to point out that this is a hand blender (or immersion blender), which may not be to everyone’s tastes. So, if you came to our best KitchenAid blenders list looking for something a bit more standard, this might not be the option for you. If, on the other hand, you are willing to try this hand blender, then this is a good option to try.
- Very convenient to use, like all immersion blenders.
- Pretty decent power output for this type of blender.
- Comes with some handy attachments and extras like a whisk and extra storage.
- Once again, a hand blender may not be for everyone.
KitchenAid High Performance Series Blender
To end off our review list, we wanted to look at an extremely high-end blender from KitchenAid. The name of this product alone probably does a good job of indicating exactly why we wanted to take a look at this appliance. Names aren’t always accurate, but the KitchenAid High Performance Series Blender definitely lives up to the name for a variety of reasons.
The first reason why this is a truly high performance blender is because of how much power it is able to output. This is easily the most powerful option that we have reviewed on our list.
Typically, power output on blenders is measured in terms of watts, but this one is measured in terms of horsepower. This blender brings a whopping 3 horsepower to the table, which is absolutely incredible for a home appliance. It also creates a vortex motion when turned on to help ensure smooth, consistent blending.
In spite of this high power output, the blender still remains an absolute joy to use. It has plenty of speeds to pick from (9 to be more specific) and it just feels comfortable overall.
While the power output of this blender is obviously fantastic and a major strong point of the appliance, it can also be problematic for two reasons. First off, the high powered motor produces a ton of noise; so much so that we would say that this is probably the noisiest blender on our review list.
The second issue is that you may not want to pay for this much power. For a lot of people, the 3 horsepower motor is going to pack way more punch than they need, so why pay for more power than you actually need.
- Whopping 3 horsepower motor.
- Blends efficiently and quickly.
- 9 different speeds to pick from.
- Overall durable and well-made appliance.
- The noisiest blender on our list.
- Probably has more power than most will need.
KitchenAid Blender Buying Guide
In this next part of our article, we have a special treat as we are going to be doing two different things.
The first thing that we will be doing is going over why, of all the various kitchen appliance brands out there, we think that KitchenAid is the best. The second thing that we will be doing is explaining what you should be considering when it comes to buying blenders in general, irrespective of brand.
Why To Go KitchenAid
The first thing that we want to talk about is why you would want to go with a KitchenAid blender in the first place. This probably doesn’t need to much explanation, since as we have said before, this is a very well-known brand that has a good reputation. Still, we do want to quickly go over why we would personally pick KitchenAid.
Ultimately, what we like most about this brand is how reliable it is. A major issue that we have had with kitchen appliances in the past is that they tend to break down quite easily.
It seems like so many brands these days prioritize overly fancy features that you don’t really need. So, it is nice to see that there is a brand like KitchenAid, which focuses on making appliances that are durable and that will actually last long enough to give you your money’s worth.
Some General Tips For Buying A Blender
Next up in this buying guide we want to talk about some general tips and other important things that we think every prospective buyer should know about before they commit to buying a blender. In this section, we are going to talk about the things that influenced our decision making when putting together our best KitchenAid blenders review list.
How Powerful The Blender Is
Given what you use a blender for, it probably isn’t surprising that one of the main things that you want out of your blender is for it to be extremely powerful.
A blender that is powerful can easily and quickly blend up all of your ingredients and create the food item that you want. A blender that isn’t powerful enough is going to jam constantly. But this always leads to the question of how to figure out exactly how powerful a particular blender is.
Well, when it comes to figuring out how powerful a blender is before you buy it, there are two things to think about. The first thing is how powerful the motor is.
As you saw from our review list, 90% of all blender motors have their power measured in watts, while a select few are so powerful that they actually have their output measured in horsepower. It goes without saying that the higher the wattage or the horsepower, the more power the motor can output.
The second thing to think about is the quality of the blades. A blender can be equipped with the most powerful motor around, but if the blade quality isn’t on par with that of the motor, it isn’t going to achieve much. So, look for a blender with sharp blades that are made from a material like stainless steel.
Convenience Features
Once you have found a blender with a power level that suits you, you can start to look for other features that, while they may not be as important as power, are still nice to have.
This is the category that we would put things like speed, ease of use, and other convenience features under. In our personal opinion, the single best convenience feature that we would recommend would be pre-set blending options. Having the ability to just press a single button and walk away while the blender does the work is very nice.
